Don’t reconstruct gorgonopsid feet like chunky lizard feet!!
Karoopes, an ichnotaxon attributed to gorgonopsids, shows:
- Slightly flat toes with distal pads and palmar pads
- Four digits bore most of their weight
- Digitigrady
- Widely splayed, inward-turned feet

A highly versatile predator, Allosaurus was capable of tackling everything from stegosaurs to sauropods to other allosaurs. With some of the most complete individuals being riddled with healed -and unhealed- injuries, theirs was a very dangerous lifestyle, even for a theropod.

I am thrilled to announce that my paper reexamining the 'modern survival' of Otodus megalodon has finally been published!

Objectively the best dinosaur. Spinosaurus - or is it Sigilmassasaurus? is the most debated carnivorous dinosaur with more than two fingers, with its bizarre anatomy and disconcerting tendency to explode leaving paleontologists and enthusiasts alike struggling to catch up.

Checking once in a while to see who's still here and drop some art. Here's one of three commissions I did last year for a thematic restaurant. This one depicts the classic Brazilian triassic period.

Kinda funny how tyrannosaurids and ceratopsids are seen as some of the most iconic cretaceous animals while being quite local lineages in terms of space and time.
