she did so much for the breast cancer community. she really LIVED her 15 years with stage 4 BC.

when I got my own (wrong) stage 4 diagnosis, I reached out to her and she was incredible. she picked me up.

What an incredible legacy Kris has left to the world. She had so much to give. Her work was ground breaking and innovative. Yet another wonderful person taken far too early by this cruel disease. RIP lovely lady 🙏💔

The talk of death as well as cancer in itself is still taboo in some ethnic minorities. I’ve personally been told Black people don’t get cancer or family members haven’t liked me being so open about #SecondaryBreastCancer . I used it as an opportunity to get my affairs in order.

So this was my Saturday.
Few hills where I live, so it was quite the challenge, but so worth it to help raise funds for Jo Taylor retreats to support and provide a way back to exercise for people dx with #BreastCancer

For me this is a major worry with the AA/PA and SCP issues coming through now. Are patients actually giving adequate informed consent to be anaesthetised & operated on by non-doctors? 🤔

Poor man. Spinal fractures are incredibly painful - one’s bad enough & then not to be believed. We need FLS clinics for all & oestoporosis needs to be taken seriously as a potentially disabling condition.
