In 1990 srgns under Medicare were paid avg $3,258 for a knee replacement today avg $1098. Considering inflation with no increase surgeons should be paid $7,656 today yet our expenses have gone up 2.35x,hospitals cont to receive ⬆️ reimbursement.

How are the pros tackling this one?

50’s F. Unilateral deformity- other foot totally normal. No neurological or autoimmune comorbidities. Not sure why or how long 2nd MTP is dislocated.
