Of course the replies are full of people thinking they should be allowed to drive dangerously if they like.

An evening cycle through Glasgow, over the new Sighthill bridge, past the Royal Infirmary and the old railway swing bridge at Port Dundas.

Glasgow is unusual in having a port on top of a hill ๐Ÿ™‚

Digging the Channel Tunnel started in Glasgow, with the first of 11 huge tunnel boring machines manufactured by Howden at their works in Scotland Street in 1987.

It's just a pity that in the last 30 years, the vision of 'Regional Eurostar' to Glasgow Central hasn't been realised

UK diplomat in Moscow told me one morning, hung over, she found a saucepan with the bottom burned off it on the stove. She wrote a note to the watchers, saying โ€œyou went a bit too far hereโ€ฆโ€
She came back later to a second note next to hers: โ€œYOU left it on, WE turned it offโ€

This is amazing research!

Anyone we deport to Rwanda must be given some form of Rwandan ID under our agreement with them.

But the agreement also says that it doesn't apply to people with Rwandan ID.

So if they leave Rwanda, and come back to the UK... You fill in the punchline.

The thing about Tatchellโ€™s argument (โ€œitโ€™s just like segregation of black peopleโ€) is itโ€™s an apology for racism.

Heโ€™s saying that apartheid was because white people had a real and justifiable fear of black people.

When of course they didnโ€™t - they just hated them.

Itโ€™s kind-of sweet to find one of the old-school Harry Potter haters - still fighting an old battle that everyone else has forgotten, like a lone Japanese soldier on a remote Pacific island.
