Firecrests had such an amazing day at Leeds Castle. They were taken on a guided tour of the castle & got to see all sorts of amazing scenes as well as finding out about the places Henry VIII loved when he was there. There was lots of dressing up too!

YR5 met author, Eve Wersocki Morris who writes adventure books filled with action & suspense. It was a fantastic experience & despite being diagnosed with dyslexia at 12 & branded ‘the worst speller in the class’ she has a 1st Class BA in English & is a very successful author.

Not many children in the UK can do what Year 5 achieved this week. They entertained over 200 people with their outstanding production of Shakespeare's Macbeth. They spoke confidently & capably & engaged the audience with their dramatic energy.
