As the Minnesota State Fair starts today, fun remember this project. It was so hot and embarassing and entirely exhausting. But also wonderful⁠ — people can be great. I'm proud of being a big paper-mache ear.

The teacher shortage can be solved by treating teachers with the respect they deserve and ensuring it’s a career worth pursuing, with pay that backs it up. Good on Detroit Public Schools 👏

There is no ‘teacher shortage’. There are thousands of qualified experiences teachers who are no longer teaching. There’s a shortage of respect and proper compensation for teachers allowing them to actually teach.

Bailey is our transgender son who’s walking in the #tcpride parade and celebrating all of himself, surrounded by a loving Minneapolis community. “This is the best day of the year” he just realized. He’s my real life superhero.
