OAP living through austerity. Not looking forward to the next few years with more austerity.

To be clear - I am making no comment on the merits of any police investigation.

No idea.

As it happens, rarely do the police or HMRC launch a criminal investigation of possible tax evasion at £1500.

My point was about the naked hypocrisy of the Tory tax-evasion enablers.

You have to laugh at the Tories making such a stink about a possible £1500 underpayment by Rayner.

Many Tories dodge that much tax before breakfast.

I’m more concerned about national security implications of Tory MPs sending pictures of penises, billions gifted to Tory donors for dodgy PPE, millions avoided in tax by Ashcroft, Sunak, Rees-Mogg & the owner of the Daily Mail & cash for honours than £1500 tax owed by Rayner

So now after the stupid ‘death by power point’ there is no return to the report from Israel on the killing of the aid workers. Smartphones and harmful content is more important.
I think not.

As a UK licence fee payer I would like to know how you justify cutting away from the Israeli report into the unlawful killing of the aid workers to run yet another ludicrous power point display.
What a failure to inform, educate and entertain.

As the sun goes down on a VERY grey, overcast Easter Sunday my panels have still produced over 11kwh of solar energy and my battery is 93% charged.

Not too bad at all.

600,000 children go to private schools and four million kids go hungry. Yet somehow the Tories argue for subsidised private school fees instead of free school meals.

Suella Braverman says VAT on public school fees will 'harm thousands of children'. But not half as much as going to school hungry is harming four million children every day.

No commitment from Jeremy Hunt to compensate women. Instead he muddied the waters by reference to court cases irrelevant to the Ombudsman’s findings. Pretty shoddy stuff. Parliament must apply the pressure promised by cross- party MPs.

Newly qualified junior doctors earn less than a THIRD of this, Jeremy Hunt.

Why do you think 98% of them just voted - again - to keep on striking?

When you won’t even raise their starting salary from a pitiful £15 an hour?

Hey Esther McVey you’re the minister for common sense and always banging on about how we shouldn’t waste taxpayer money. Surely you should be commenting on this kind of thing????

I’m trawling through privatised NHS contracts. Just found one from June 2022 for Frank Hester’s Phoenix partnership- for Hull University Teaching Hospital NHS Trust.

If you think NHS orgs should drop these contracts with Frank Hester’s company, retweet this 🚨

“For £10 million we are willing to say a snake is a bunny rabbit and that “black” does not mean “black skinned” & “women” isn’t female and “shot” doesn’t indicate an act of violence.

I mean, we are the party that legislated to say that “unsafe” means “safe””.
