🕯 We lit the menorah and recalled the story of Hanukkah before enjoying some doughnuts together!

🕎 Tonight, we celebrated the eighth night of #Hanukkah at our Training and Safety Centre in Bury.

Thank you to Rabbi Daniel Walker, Deputy Mayor for Policing, Crime and Fire Kate Green and colleagues from Greater Manchester Police and Hatzola Manchester for joining us on what was a special evening.

Another late night finish for Greater Manchester Fire & Rescue Service NWAS Resilience Team North West Ambulance Service - large scale multi-agency exercising for our crews, commanders and North West Fire Control.

Excited about the imminent roll out of brand new state of the art Motorola Solutions R7 radio in Greater Manchester Fire & Rescue Service. Ensuring our firefighters have the best communication tools available to them. Great work by our #ICTdigital teams

Our Greater Manchester Fire & Rescue Service crews have spent another late night testing and exercising at a large-scale joint training exercise to check our preparedness to respond and help people in the event of a terror attack and rescue large numbers of casualties.

Greater Manchester ACF today hosted a Mayoral visit at Holcombe Moor Training Centre for the Lord Mayor, Mayor’s, Mayoress', Consorts & other distinguished guests from across Greater Manchester.

Busy night for Greater Manchester Fire & Rescue Service: large fire in #Radcliife . Thnx Bury Council Greater Manchester Police North West Ambulance Service and North West Fire Control who recieved almost 50 999 calls. Proud of FFs and Command Team dealing with challenging incident - preventing spread to multiple neighbouring businesses.

Our Greater Manchester Fire & Rescue Service crews have worked tirelessly overnight at the scene of a large fire in #Oldham + North West Fire Control received almost 70 #999 calls to the incident. The fire is under control and smoke levels are much reduced, but our FFs will remain on scene throughout the day.
