Macheso, Roki, the Charambas and Dorcas Moyo. I’ve watched these great artists performing live and thoroughly enjoyed the energy that they bring to their live performances. 🔥🔥

Independence. Remembering my uncle Gideon Mahaka - nom de guerre Edmond Kaguri. ZIPA High Command. Mortally wounded on 8 August, 1976 at Nyadzonya and taken as a trophy across the border by Selous Scouts. We don’t know where his body was disposed of.

These beautiful rolling hills come to mind when I think of home. My dad grew up at New Year’s Gift where my granddad was a teacher and my mom grew up in Gwenzi across the river from Jersey Tea estate. I look forward to making films that leverage the natural beauty of Chipinge.

Sunset at Mana Pools after a long game walk. Hippos come out of the water to graze along the banks. Elephants and hyenas visit your campsite in the night and monkeys raid your tents in the morning. Nature at its best.

Growing up at Mt Selinda next to the Chirinda forest we took its beauty and uniqueness of Big Tree for granted. Now we know better. This year I’m looking forward to spending a night at the campsite in the forest.
