Today’s #passiflora are both polyploid superstars. P. ‘Betty Myles Young’ from Myles Stewart Irvine is my absolute favourite hardy (until ‘Damsel’s Delight’ opens its first flower!) here growing indoors.
P. ‘Monika Fischer’ (not hardy) from Dr Roland Fischer is an absolute stunner.

Megabunus diaema with its bulging eye turret (ocularium), crowned with impressive spikes is a species of Opiliones that one would have trouble confusing with any other of the UKs Harvestmen. #TurnFear2Fascination

A top mini-beast encounter in SW Turkey today. This Spoon-winged Lacewing a.k.a. Thread-winged Antlion is something I'd hoped to see on my visit. Believe it is Nemoptera sinuata - happy for confirmation or correction 🙂
