I try not to get too personal on this page and keep it light but fuck it is hard to work and work and work and try to stay positive when I’m constantly overlooked for governor general. I’m tired, y’all.

The Zone of Interest was confusing to me. People walk out of frame and it’s like, ok, first of all, where did they go? Secondly — and I guess this is sort of a related question — where are they? Are they somewhere?

I saw The Zone of Interest (I have thought a lot since how there's nothing unique about those Nazis, and they could've been anyone in the world. Anyone.) I was not prepared for how sick it would make me feel, and that is because of the sounds. What an art bbc.com/culture/articl…

This story highlights my point earlier this year: that some, even many Millennials are going to profit from inherited wealth – but the many who won't will have next to no hope of improving their circumstances, testing our intragenerational solidarity theguardian.com/commentisfree/…

I remember working at the SCG and getting to see these text messages come in. They were 95% complaints about the ref. “Daylight robbery occurring”, “some dickhead with a whistle is ruining the game for everyone” etc - a beautiful slice of Aussie culture.
