The right to repair is essential. Manufacturers' restrictions, lack of spare parts, and product design limitations must end. People should have the freedom to repair their belongings themselves or at repair shops. I supported this right in the EP, advocating for change.

For 5 years, I've relentlessly advocated for Romania's entry into the Schengen Area in the EP. Last night, I addressed Commissioner Ylva Johansson, emphasizing the need for consistency and perseverance to achieve this important goal for our economy and freedom of movement!

In the final parliamentary session, I endorsed the AI Act, setting common rules for Artificial Intelligence. Committed to serving until the last moment, I've consistently represented the interests of Romanians and Europeans in debates, committees, and votes.

Supporting Ukraine, we demand action against Russian aggression. At EU Parliament, I joined a symbolic decision withholding budget approval until missile defense aid is sent. We can't tolerate inhumanity in modern warfare.

Attending the last Renew Europe group meeting of the 2019-2024 European Parliament mandate in Brussels. Preparing for the final plenary session in Strasbourg next week. Reflecting on our achievements and priorities, crucial for USR and Romania.

Moldova needs urgent EU support. I reached out to the European Commission for updates on their accession process. Despite Moldova's progress, Council delays are hindering their path. Romania's proactive stance is vital for Moldova's future in the EU.

Over 5 million Romanians reside abroad, including 411,000 children born in the last 13 years. It's crucial for authorities to support and engage with these communities. Visited the Carpatia Association, witnessing their efforts in preserving Romanian culture among the youngsters.

Completed another week in the European Parliament, voting on regulations. Heading to Turin with United Right colleagues to meet the Romanian community and discuss our program for the June 9th elections.

Even though we're partially in the Schengen Area with airports and seaports, it doesn't mean I'll give up on this national goal for Romania. Land routes are crucial for people's mobility, and our goods deserve to move freely throughout the EU without bureaucratic restrictions.
