This week I have been in Bangladesh, which included some time in Dhaka to learn more about the founding of Bangladesh in 1971 and join the board of trustees at the Asian University for Women in Chittagong. The week has been very inspiring and uplifting!

During early January, I set up a trip to visit several excellent universities in Hong Kong, Singapore, and Malaysia - all reinventing higher education in the 21st Century in their own ways. The trip included a book talk at HKBU, and many great meetings.

Our new book, The New Global Universities - is now published by Princeton Press and has received a great reception so far at various book talks, including the NECHE meeting, and is also listed as a top higher education book for 2023 by Forbes Magazine.
