The two main objectives for 🇪🇺 eu/acc right now:

- European Inc. company type, with fully digital registration and maintenance, paying corporate tax to EU directly and being regulated by one set of EU Inc. laws (preferably modeled after US Delaware Inc, UK Ltd Or SG Pte Ltd)

Skill issue - all you have to do to build a modern frontend (easy mode):

- Create a reactive native isomorphic TypeScript SPA template with react router, flux, quasar, and shithouse.js bindings
- Use Vite, WebPack, NPM, shrinkwrap, and goober for managing builds
- Use a SASS

it's actually been 9 years since Sentry first adopted React!

back in 2015 a few people sarcastically joked that we'd be changing frameworks in a year

Prob got a memory leak on a aspnet app now, getting the occasional OOM errors in Sentry but no memory dumps. I think we should have one attached + a heap visualization tool like Filip Navara 🇺🇦 (parody of myself)'s github.com/1hub/dotnet-he…

I'm happy I have vacation soon, but I'm very bummed I'll miss Microsoft Build. First in-person since 2019 which I had the pleasure to join and pitch Sentry to hundreds of devs.

Major perf improvements from the latest release!
No tool has helped us improve our product quality as much as Sentry. Beyond bug tracking, it's also deep insights with anonymized session replays and performance profiling.
Thanks for supporting open source 🙌

experience in VSCode without Dev Kit is just as good as 'the fullest' experience of TS or Golang in VSCode. It just means that C# experience in VS Pro or Rider is better than JS/TS or Go.

VS Community is also free and the same license is applied to C# Dev Kit.

Gergely Orosz Woah woah woah.

I’ve been full time Dotnet dev on primarily Mac for like 7 happy years. Only last year did i actually pay for Rider.

You don’t need VS or rider to get code working — it is definitely better. CLI is awesome and the basic c# language plugin for VS code is good.

Don’t agree that Windows or VS Pro being a requirement at all. But having to pay for an IDE (JetBrains Rider which runs on Mac and Linux) is a must. If you really want to be productive with it. Otherwise another language with VS Code might be a better choice.

Google Cloud accidentally deleted a company's entire cloud environment (Unisuper, an investment company, which manages $80B). The company had backups in another region, but GCP deleted those too. Luckily, they had yet more backups on another provider.

This is an extremely well made video of Sentry's Unity support. Congrats Stefan Jandl and everyone else involved in Sentry for Unity!

JimBobSquarePants 🇺🇦 I’d recommend Sentry, it’s very widely used (not just .NET) and that shows in the product. They’ve got it right on so many levels.

Can't imagine building product without a direct user feedback channel. Proud to be part of the team that shipped this!

If you don’t have someone at work you can DM just to vent raw, unfiltered frustration, you’re missing out.
