The biggest sign of competence in any role, in any level of seniority: the prompt reply to an email / text / DM.

Even just a “will read and get back soon”.

The biggest sign of incompetence: a lack of prompt reply or acknowledgement.

I’ve noticed this pattern for near 20…

Why America is the greatest country:

“almost any Dane, with the right will & gumption, could make it in America. Even become American. But almost no American, regardless of their honest intentions to integrate, will ever be able to truly become a Dane in the eyes of the Danish.”

American leftists, generally speaking, don't understand resource constraints. Every life problem can be solved by Mommy & Daddy writing a check. All social problems exist because the government refuses to allocate more 'resources' (i.e. write checks). Etc.

The defense looks so out of sorts - coverage busts, and lots of pre-snap hand waving and panicked responses to motion.

One of the purported benefits of Bradley’s scheme is simplicity, so guys can play fast. Not happening tonight.

The coverage busts have been so bad I'm left thinking:

'There's no way the Colts had 11 defenders on the field.'

As usual, Yuval Levin nails it. This sharp call for a cautious approach to regulating AI that relies on addressing concrete, domain-specific risks is consistent with the white paper that U.S. Senator Bill Cassidy, M.D. and Senate HELP Committee GOP published in September.

At Verve, we are living example of👇🏽 statement from Bob.

To go from a scientific idea to a new approved medicine that is effective and safe, likely a

10+y journey requiring >$2B in capital.

Particularly true for a first-in-class medicine like Casgevy.

All of this 🧵 plus, I don’t look around Congress and think the problem is too much experience legislating.

If I were a Colts fan, I'd be thrilled with the way Anthony Richardson played on Sunday. Some plays I'm sure he wants back, but played fast and never for a second looked out of place.

Look at the anticipation and placement on this throw.

So much to like from the jump.

Great to see such a positive response to our white paper from folks at the cutting edge of biomedical innovation!

Energy Secretary Granholm recently took 4-day EV caravan trip across the southeast to 'draw attention to the billions of dollars the White House is pouring into green energy and clean cars.'

What happened next is like a scene out of VEEP:

Yesterday, U.S. Senator Bill Cassidy, M.D. released an AI white paper to lay out his views as the Senate considers AI-related issues.

“We must account for the specific context in which AI’s capabilities are applied. A sweeping, one-size-fits-all approach for regulating AI will not work.”
