I'm a reporter, but I am really disillusioned by my profession. Their obsession with President Biden age says more about them, and their own prejudices, than it does about the president's competence.

For too long we reporters have prioritized what's the most controversial in an event over what is most important. That habit has gotten worse and worse over the years. No wonder fewer people consume the news.

I'd like to see any reporter so quick to skewer over age live Biden's workday a few weeks. See what goes. See how they do with questions lobbed fast and furious by what feels like an unruly mob.

The reason the American are so hung up on Biden's age is because the media is obsessed with it. As reporters, a certain precision about names and dates is drilled into as, and we learn to check before we post or publish. But that kind of memory isn't that important in Biden's job
