it's my birthday tomorrow so i decided i'll accept the fact that i'm a boring white middle-aged woman living in a comfortable neighbourhood in western europe. last time i got a haircut the stylist obv classified me as such so i already got the looks anyway

found my university card and it took me a second to remember how the easiest way for me to make a decent picture for the card was to fine-tune a stable diffusion model on a bunch of my photos and ask the model to make a passport photo of me 'well-rested' and 'with fresh haircut'

exactly 10 years ago today i got my phd degree! the dissertation was not great but alright. i was a theoretical semanticist back then, and now i am not even sure i remember what that actually means, but it was fun back then. now i mainly want to take a nap! exciting times
