How Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope Will Measure Ages of Stars

This graph shows the observed brightness of a simulated star over a single rotation period. Roman will be able to measure the light curves, and therefore rotation rates, of hundreds of thousands of stars.

📷 Sky survey data acquired during NEOWISE's 10th year are now available at @nasa_irsa. Combined with years 1-9 data, the archive contains ~25.3 million sets of 3.4 and 4.6-micron images and ~189 billion source detections.

✨Four Planets and New JWST Spectra ✨

This week's #NASAExoArchive release has four new planets, bringing our official confirmed planet count to 5,599. We've also added new spectra from #JWST for LTT 9779 b and WASP-77 A b. exoplanetarchive.ipac.caltech.edu

The Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope team has announced plans for an unprecedented survey of the plane of our Milky Way galaxy.

'Roman will be a survey machine!” said Roberta Paladini, a senior research scientist at Caltech IPAC.
