The New WARR Center located on the corner of McHugh and F St. on MCB Camp Lejeune opened its doors with the 2024 WARR Installation Challenge, hosted by MCCSLejeune-NewRiver. It is open to all DOD ID cardholders.

2nd CDC Set to Open in 2025

MCCSLejeune-NewRiver will soon begin renovations on AS-207, which will house 82 more childcare spaces on MCAS New River. The new CDC will also feature a host of robust security features, new lighting, carpet and more.

Onslow County and Camp Lejeune leadership, as well as community members, gathered today to remember the late Gen Al Gray, the 29th Commandant of the Marine Corps.

He is regarded by many as the 'godfather of the Carolina MAGTF', and his legacy will endure for generations to come.

The Jacksonville-Onslow Chamber of Commerce visited MCB Camp Lejeune and MCAS New River to learn about base facilities, while strengthening their partnership.

On 23 March, there was an altercation on base in which shots were fired. There are no reported injuries, and the suspect has been apprehended. There are no public safety concerns at this time.

Camp Lejeune hosted the Marine Corps Marksmanship Competition East at Stone Bay, where Marines competed in pistol, action rifle and precision rifle. This competition is designed to challenge Marines and enhance overall lethality.
