One of my favourite IS from Bellwoods. Boyd 2022. Aged in cognac barrels. Smooth, creamy and boozy.

I’ve had this for some time now. Not sure of the date. Def pre Covid. Highlander Brew Co. before it became South River Brewing. It’s not winter anymore but the “Winter” is pretty darn good. It aged well. Dry, a little bitter, roasted malts, coffee. Not too bad indeed.

Wow! This is a beauty. Hopped right up. Lots of bitterness. Malty. No tropical fruits in this guy.

Why doesn’t SBA sound like this?

This is a nice NEIPA from Microbrasserie Wick Station. Canisse #5 with Riwaka hops. No bitterness at all. It’s nice and juicy.

Gros Mollet Lumber Jack from Microbrasserie Du Lac St Jean. Malty, caramel and Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey. Like a nice Belgian Quad.

This tastes great since it warmed up but I’m disappointed that it’s a little flat. Lervig Imperial Stout aged in Bourbon, Rum and Maple Syrup Barrels. LERVIG
