Year 5 had a great Science afternoon at Barrs Hill. We made rollercoasters, exploring the forces and testing them out with marbles.

Today in Science club we made thaumatropes! This relies on the persistence of vision. The two separate images pass by your eyes so quickly that you are still processing one when you see the next, and you merge the two together to see a complete image. 🤓

Year 2 Ferguson launched their new topic ‘To infinity and beyond’ with an art hook. They watched blue planet and then created their own sea creatures. #trynewthings Blue Planet David Attenborough

Nursery PM have also had an AMAZING afternoon meeting all of the animals from Ark Farm and getting to stroke them. We also had so much fun on the bouncy castle and enjoyed ice cream in the sun #thejcway 🍨🪿🐑

We had the best day at JC today! Royal Institution led workshops with KS1, KS2 and even our parents got involved. We set alight 🔥 some bubbles, propelled rockets 🚀 and bust balloons! 🎈
