Psychiatrists cause iatrogenic harm using #ECT and psychiatric drugs. Even so, they still brazenly claim to have helped a patient. If a patient disagrees, they consider him/her treatment-resistant. Psychiatrists work for their own benefit. The patient comes second. #mentalhealth

Psychiatric diagnosis is diagnosis by confession. Emotional states are evaluated on the basis of what a person says and does. There are no objective biological markers for mental disorders so the 'science' is purely subjective which means it's not actually science. #mentalhealth

There are posts from #psychiatrists who don't understand why psychiatry is disliked. This: pregnant women are told #ECT is safe for them and their unborn child. They're told not to drink too much coffee, or eat certain foods, or smoke, or take certain drugs but they can get ECT.

Psychiatrists use the #MentalHealth Act to operate with impunity. If psychiatric methods were copied by other people, they would likely be found guilty of several crimes including assault. It's key to challenge #psychiatry with the specified aim of bringing it back under the law.

Psychiatric evaluations are unscientific opinions placed in a patient's health record. A #psychiatrist can use the law to prevent a patient accessing those opinions on the basis they may be considered harmful. It's another covert method used to harm with impunity. #mentalhealth

It's testimony to psychiatric propaganda at several echelons that brain-damaging #ECT is still considered as 'treatment.' It's assault but silence can be interpreted as acceptance. We therefore continue informing the public that ECT is inhumane and must be banned. #mentalhealth

Psychiatrists detain, chemically restrain and cause damage to the brain and it's done with impunity. Their pseudo-scientific rhetoric never addresses #ECT damage or #prescribedharm . Any challenge is met with a dismissive attitude, similar to that used on patients. #mentalhealth

Psychiatric rhetoric about #ECT that gets continually churned out by those using it and those with vested interests is only a distraction and an attempt to mitigate for the brain damage inflicted each time a #psychiatrist wires up a person to an electroshock device. #mentalhealth

Ask a #psychiatrist today about how the mind or brain works and you will discover he doesn't know. Ask him about how #ECT 'works' and he will also tell you he doesn't know. He does however have endless theories about it. This is the quality of someone in charge of #mentalhealth .

An NHS ' #ADHD taskforce' is an invitation for psychiatrists and their membership body ( #RCPsych ) to jump on a lucrative bandwagon to create more patients. An NHS taskforce to reveal the psychiatric propaganda keeping the ADHD gravy train on full throttle would be more beneficial.

When a #psychiatrist recommends #ECT , patients can't give informed consent. Why not? Because psychiatrists don't understand the laws of electricity and how it affects the body, and they don't tell patients about the brain damage inflicted when they press the button. #mentalhealth

Through the redefinition of problems associated with living, psychiatrists are editing normal out of existence with unscientific labels like #ADHD and prescribing mind-altering drugs. This obsessive psychiatric habit results in meaningless labels that create more difficulties.

Under current laws, no one is permitted to inflict brain damage on another person with impunity, unless they are a #psychiatrist using #ECT . That they continue is enough reason to carry on beating the drum to bring an end to this inhumane activity. #mentalhealth

For anyone observing #ECT for the first time, it can appear more acceptable compared to early applications, but an illusion has been created. With 'modern' ECT, patients are anaesthetised and paralysed with drugs. It makes it look better, but the brain damage is still inflicted.

Psychiatrists and their membership body have to continually work at damage limitation. The 'tools' of the psychiatric trade, especially electroshock ( #ECT ) and #psychiatric drugs, cause brain damage, organ failure and iatrogenic illness. It's assault & they know it. #mentalhealth

It is uncertain why Dr Lade Smith of the #RCPsych was part of the debate on Radio 4 titled 'How do we get Britain working?' Many #mentalhealth patients cannot return to work due to iatrogenic harm caused by psych drugs or brain damage caused by #ECT . Any altruism is misleading.

It's a damning reflection on the psychiatric industry that it can't police its own practices. In any other setting, #ECT would be considered assault, and the perpetrators prosecuted. Psychiatrists continue to use it and continue to cause brain damage with impunity. #mentalhealth
