When minor trouble at a pro march in October led to 10 or so arrests newspapers called for 'hate mob' to be banned. When 'nationalists' with the flag fought with Police yesterday at a march there is no similar call or coverage.

Excellent journalism and interviewing from Mishal Husain on BBC Radio 4 of the former Home Secretary.

More journalists should challenge the framing of the pro-Palestinian marches as hate marches and infested with antisemitism

One year on the Daily Telegraph rinses and repeats an attack on an Oxford University college for hosting an Eid Dinner to mark the end of Ramadan.

This non-story would not be published about any other faith group in Britain.

The parents of Sydney attacker Cauchi have been described as “very religious”. Quite rightly their religion is not being questioned and its influence on him. However, I wonder what the subject of certain columns and shows would be tomorrow, had the family happened to be Muslim?
