It started as a loose Constantine/Hellraiser mashup and this opening scene, which had been in my head for forever. It grew into something darker and meaner than I had ever written prior.

This was such a fun night. Fairuza came by my home studio, we had a couple of beers, watched Wendy O. Williams videos on YouTube and shot these portraits.

An awful lot of filmmaking involves networking, meeting people, being in the room. Showing up to events, being seen and present. Things are a tad easier with online meetings making international collabs more viable etc. but it's still harder if you don't live in London or LA -
