Not a bad view for dinner tonight. Can any of my south Jersey peeps figure out where I’m at? By the way, I love when the sky looks like this! High and low clouds mixed.

Strong, gusty winds are possible Thursday afternoon and night. The heavy rain, possible flooding, powerful winds, etc. it's all associated with a strong cold front approaching from the west. A couple of thunderstorms are possible as well.

The Weather Prediction Center is becoming more concerned about the possibility of heavy rain and flooding Thursday afternoon and night. Urban, small creek and poor drainage flooding likely in some areas north and west. Lesser of a chance, but still possible south and east.

All you warm weather fans out there, today is your day! The warmest temperature so far this year in Philadelphia was 77 degrees back on March 14th. A few locations may exceed that later this afternoon. Enjoy!

Game over! The lower, thicker altostratus clouds have arrived. This is what I talked about over the weekend. This was my fear. No eclipse for us. 😢

We have some clouds starting to move across south Jersey now. These higher cirrostratus are fine, but if they lower and thicken (altostratus), the viewing will be in jeopardy.

The high resolution forecast guidance is showing a bit of mid level cloudiness around the Philadelphia area today during the time of 90% totality (3:23pm). Hopefully this is just a few clouds approaching from the west and not a solid, deep overcast.

I’m seeing lots of frost on the lawns and roof tops this morning. I hope this doesn’t kill my grass seed. 😢

The winds have died down this morning (4-8 mph), but they will pick up again during the afternoon (10-20 mph). It will not be as windy as yesterday, but definitely on the breezy side. High 59.

Watching some clouds to our west. Monday will start out bright and sunny, but during the afternoon we start to pick up some clouds. Cirrostratus is fine, but the lower altostratus is not. We'll have to keep an eye on the timing. Hopefully we can hold the clouds off.

Another chilly day is expected with wind chills in the 40s. The clouds will come rolling back in this afternoon and there could even be a brief passing shower or sprinkle around. Highs in the low 50s. We should be in the low 60s.
