Vishal Sharma gave an update on @bma_consultants pay dispute with the government following the (close) rejection offer - a new offer has been received which @bma_consultants can *recommend*. Detail to follow
Thank you to Vishal Sharma and colleagues BMA Consultants for an informative webinar on the government pay offer. It's complicated & affects people differently (though not necessarily in the way it is sometimes described). I'd recommend colleagues to join one.

Question now for Dr Navina Evans from Subodh Dave โ๏ธ๐ป๐ Humanising Medicine Royal College of Psychiatrists on how much priority is given to mental health in the NHS both in what we deliver and how we train. There has been a growth in psych training-is it now time (asks Subodh) for a psychiatrist as a Postgraduate Dean ? DEMEC23
1st question to Dr Navina Evans DEMEC23 is how we need to do better for our #neurodiverse colleagues in the NHS, and the impact on mental health (including a high rate of thinking of suicide) when this goes wrong (as it has too frequently). Moving people on/out damages us all.
