One of the things I have discovered over the course of many debates: never underestimate the inability of some in the audience to follow the basic outline of an argument. It doesn't matter how simple you make it, how clear the premises: they still won't get it.

“Lack-theism” suggests there aren’t good arguments for atheism; proponents seem hesitant to take a stand & try to discharge the burden of proof. A better idea: say you don’t believe in God because of the problem of evil or hiddenness. This is a much more respectable position.
