Could you imagine if Sue Gray had spoken at a Labour Party conference and was then put in charge of the “Partygate” investigation? Odd to say the least.
Private Eye Magazine Police officers are free to support whichever party they choose but to declare their allegiances openly,when serving,and then to be involved in what appears to be a politicall motivated enquiry must surely be questionable.
