The Street Department is currently working, in the area of W Hickory St. and Willams St., on a downed tree that is blocking the road. Please avoid this area. Follow this thread for updates.

Most all of the power is restored. Crews are still working on a very small outage.

Crews are headed to the power outage Westside of town estimated restore time is approximately 2 hrs.

Water service will be out on Oxford, Heather, Windsor, Pickwick, Wellington, and Cambridge while water crews are working in the area. Estimated time is two hours and updates will be provided when service returns.

Woodrow Lane has one lane closed in each direction while the water department works to replace a valve. This lane closure is expected to last through the night.

N Wood St will be closed from Paisley to Texas until approximately 4 PM as Wastewater crews work in the area. Follow this thread for any available updates.

Starting on Friday 4/12/2024, Denton Municipal Electric will have one lane closed on Oak Street, West of Bonnie Brae St and one lane closed at Avenue H and Stella St for construction activities. Work will be complete on 5/15/2024.
