A reminder seasonal load restrictions are in place for heavy vehicles on some roads. The annual restrictions, which are in effect until May 15th, are aimed at preventing our roads from being permanently damaged during the spring thaw.

There will be some new and returning food vendors in the Downtown Waterfront area this summer. Beavertails will be back at the North Bay Waterfront, Ever Cool will be scooping out cool treats at the North Bay Museum and the Ultimate Melt will also be at the Museum.

Starting Monday, sandbag filling stations at Sunset and Champlain parks will no longer be staffed due to lower demand. Pre-filled sandbags will still be available on a self-serve basis. Sandbags are intended for reinforcing breakwalls and keeping water away from buildings.
