City offices will be closed next Monday, June 19th, in observance of #Juneteenth .

Juneteenth commemorates the end of slavery in the United States and was first recognized as a federal holiday in 2021.

As we observe this Memorial Day, we honor the brave men and women who have given the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom.

Offices will reopen with regular hours on Tuesday, May 30.

HEADS UP: Beginning Monday, May 22nd, crews will begin concrete work on N. Detroit St. from Church St. to Kinsey Rd. for sidewalk, catch basins, and ADA ramps.
Two lanes of traffic will remain open at all times. Work is weather dependent, but is expected to take 30 days.

ODNR crews have completed their search for invasive bighead carp at the pond at Shawnee Park.

Fishing is now open to the public. In all 3 grass carp were caught.

Make sure to tune in to WHIO-TV to see kayla marie’s report on this week’s temporary closure of the pond at Shawnee Park.
OhioDNR will be removing invasive fish from the pond.
