A great day watching the annual Field Gun competition HMS Collingwood. A fantastic final with a #FAA first and second, RNAS Yeovilton crew narrowly pipped to second place by RNAS Culdrose, by 0.3 seconds! Incredible grit, determination and teamwork by all.
As part of the #UKNL50 Commando demo at #MarineDagen , Royal Marines from 45 Commando RM and SRS fast-roped onto a Korps Mariniers Landing Craft and heli-cast into Den Helder Harbour. Thank you to the 847 Naval Air Squadron Colonel Mark Johnson Wildcat crew!

Congrats to 5 pilots and 2 aircrewmen - now qualified Junglies, ready to fly Royal Marines into action with Colonel Mark Johnson after completing Merlin Mk4 training with 846 Naval Air Squadron👏🚁
They received their wings - marking the end of 6 years' training for some.

We spent last week at RAF Valley operating with 45 Commando RM. Covering fast roping, winching, SAR and mountain training, the week was invaluable and built stronger relationships between 845 NAS and the Royal Marines for future operations. #flynavy
