The recent SA/IND & AUS/WI series shows what a complete waste of space 2 match test series are in the context of denying viewers and teams the prospect of a final result.

3 match test series should be the minimum from the next test cycle imo (won't happen btw).

Appalling decision by Cricket South Africa to strip David Teeger of SAU19 captaincy supposedly because of security concerns. As per their statement it is their duty to safeguard their players and any agitation against the captain should have been firmly resisted.

South Africa's programme of two-match Test series is totally unsatisfactory. Maybe think of four-day Tests? Three four-day Tests, with two days off in between, would take 14 days, as opposed to 13 for two Tests with three days off. Most Tests don't last beyond four days anyway.
