Today is #InternationalVolunteerDay and we give thanks for the volunteers who support our charity. We would simply not be here without our wonderful volunteers! The roles are numerous and varied, and our fantastic team get stuck in with good humour, dedication and passion.

Baroness Fookes, the patron of The Friends of Conquest Hospital charity, and Sally-Ann Hart MP, will hold a lively discussion about the role of women in politics through the years at an event on Friday 20th October in aid of The Friends of Conquest Hospital and HIP charities.

We had to make the heartbreaking decision to cancel our Summer Fete at the weekend due to adverse weather.
Thankfully, our Grand Raffle will still proceed, albeit on the later date of 22nd July at 3pm. Still time to purchase tickets in The Friends Shop, or online at EventBrite.

Our AGM was held on Saturday in the beautiful Durbar Hall at Hastings Museum & Art Gallery, with Mayor of Hastings involved with proceedings. He took time to thank the trustees, committee, members and volunteers for the amazing fundraising they do to support our local hospital.

Lloyds Bank in Hastings are very kindly holding an Easter Raffle to raise funds for The Friends of Conquest Hospital.Pop into the branch to purchase tickets- £2 per strip or £5 for 3 strips. The raffle will be drawn on Friday 31st March, with plenty of Easter treats up for grabs!

The lovely Friends Unlimited choir are putting on a concert to raise funds for The Friends of Conquest Hospital in April at Hastings Museum. A huge thank you to Friends Unlimited for their support! We're really looking forward to their performance! We hope to see you there too.

A huge thank you to The Nags Head St Leonards, landlady Dee Cottey (pictured) and her customers for their support in raising over £450.00 since they agreed to host one of our collection tins last June. The amount they've raised is incredible!

We've completely sold out of stallholder space for our Spring Craft Fair! We're very grateful to the fantastic ladies from Brede WI, who will be looking after refreshments on the day. Professional harpist Fiona Hosford is generously giving up her time to perform during the event.

WOW! We've now SOLD OUT of stall space for our upcoming craft fair! We do have a waitlist though, so please do get in touch if you'd be interested in having a stall and we'll add you to the list.

Do you need a new hobby for the new year or do you love to knit already? We're looking for volunteers to knit baby blankets & hats for us to sell in the Friends shop to raise funds. We'd also love to receive donations of wool for our volunteers to use. To get involved, DM us.
