'They're waiting for us to die': Industrial school abuse survivors say they need urgent support (via TheJournal.ie) jrnl.ie/6299175
10 years after the Louise O'Keeffe decision in the European Court of Human Rights, the State is still fighting survivors of sexual abuse in schools and denying them their legal right to redress. Well done to Irish Human Rights & Equality Commission for intervening in this case.
Very pleased Catherine Connolly is in there advocating for us all, and raising the issues of exclusion, such as the arbitrary 6months cut-off, racial discrimination, abuse in boarded out placements and others

Yet again ! It's beyond belief. Can the opposition do something Senator Paul Gavan
Just woke up this morning to this great news, that Derry in Northern Ireland will have its first Mayor of African descent. Congratulations to Lilian Seenoi-Barr

Bill to make it easier for Irish people to get British citizenship progresses
Looks like Irish and British cousins on these Islands are getting closer. Reciprocity in citizenship seems inevitable. Irish in Britain irishexaminer.com/news/arid-4138…
'The UN has created a space and a platform where people of African descent from all over can come together as one voice and actually appeal to the Member States.'
Last week, we organized a Ciné-ONU screening of 'The Woman King' and spoke to 3 panelists on how to #FightRacism ⬇️.
