Main message of the new book ‘No More Pandemics’:

“If all indoor spaces where people gather are consistently supplied with fresh air through ventilation (<1000 ppm CO2), respiratory infections will come to an end and disappear in any region.”

Hospital Infection Control Guidance for SARS by World Health Organization (WHO) in 2003.

In contrast to this pandemic, World Health Organization (WHO) advised at the time:

👉Airborne precautions
👉“N95 mask as a minimum”

(Retrieved via The Wayback Machine: web.archive.org/web/2003040322…)

Why did World Health Organization (WHO) “forget” this in 2020?

Oct. 2019, Mike Ryan about the pandemic exercise with an *airborne coronavirus*:

“addresses real & critical threats.”

“respiratory pathogens are often transmitted by asymptomatic persons. They spread fast.”

Then why World Health Organization (WHO)’s airborne denial when the exercise became a reality?

When I say it’s because the word “droplet” is defined erroneously in IPAC field. The actual science underpinning its definition is *wrong*.

Of course it’s not the word itself. It’s the *error* in the reasoning.

We then built hospitals wrong, all over the world.

Very expensive and dangerous semantics leaving every country open to airborne disease attack.

At the end of the day, if we had called it droplet, but then recognised these droplets float and therefore put in the correct mitigations of respirators and clean air… we might have got away with it.

But we didn’t.

You see, the problem is, you can change how you use a word across different disciplines, but if you can’t explain why you did that satisfactorily…

Well… then you are just ignoring inconvenient findings.
