This guy got a little lucky. Saw the phone in his hand as he overtook me and probably got rid of it quick enough when I was alongside that it isn't worth reporting #TheOneThatGotAway

I've reported a number of these to the Metropolitan Police but action is never taken despite these often being more dangerous than a vehicle close passing in the same direction. Made no attempt to slow and the mirror was about 8 inches from my shoulder. Still worth a report?

This just screams pointless! Considering a car has just pulled out in front, is the close pass really worth it?

I think Cycle Safety Team should loan out 360 degree helmet cameras (secured against a bank card). I’d like to borrow one for a few weeks, I reckon I’d get 50 or so phone drivers prosecuted a week? Just can’t quite justify paying £500 to buy one yet.
