USC graduate forward Kaitlyn Davis has been selected No. 35 overall by the New York Liberty in the third round of the 2024 WNBA draft.

USC graduate guard McKenzie Forbes has been selected No. 28 overall by the Los Angeles Sparks in the third round of the 2024 WNBA draft. Forbes will join Stanford center Cameron Brink and Tennessee forward Rickea Jackson, whom the Sparks selected in the first round.

UPDATE: The sidewalk directly underneath the damaged portion of the wall has been blocked off. On the third floor of the parking structure, a fence now blocks the gap created by the damages.

UPDATE: The Los Angeles Fire Department has set up a ladder to allow officers into a building next door. DPS Assistant Chief David Carlisle told the Daily Trojan that the police and the suspect are in in a 'stalemate' but no weapons are involved as of now.
