What's the probability of accidentally running into your own brother on a work trip abroad? Clearly non-zero when you both work in startups and the city is San Francisco πŸ™ƒ

Meet Emmanuel Onu who's building the next generation software for electric vehicles at Terrawatt.

Yes, it

Thanks for highlighting our work! In our paper, evidence points to there being multiple sources of bias - there’s a lot of room for more work in this space

Thanks for engaging with and publicizing this work. The findings are nuanced and it’s prolly a good thing for science and bad thing for β€œpolitics” that both sides of the 2020 debate can find validation in the results.

Attaching my critique from 2020:

This is wild. Not only is Air Canada being forced to honor a refund invented by its AI chatbot, but they tried to get out of it by claiming the bot is 'responsible for its own actions.' Everyone wants AI, but no one wants to be responsible for it.

New paper! 🚨

arxiv.org/abs/2402.01139

Online conformal w/ guarantees on

βœ…adversarial sequences (coverage averaged over time)

and simultaneously

βœ… stochastic ones (converges to true quantile)!

A win for conformal in time series! 😁

I don't care if it was published in Nature - this is a load of πŸ’©.
You cannot predict people's deaths and frankly, I don't see why we are wasting our time trying...
