BHIVA confirms that Manuel needs a full assessment to check his viral load and rule out any resistance to treatment before he can restart any medication.

Manuel Guerrero, arrested in #Qatar for being gay, has run out of #HIV medication.

National AIDS Trust and Terrence Higgins Trust have written to the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office and the Public Prosecutor of Qatar urging them to ensure that Manuel can receive the medical attention and treatment he needs.

This is an absolutely appalling human rights abuse. Qatar must allow Manuel access to medication now.
