Today's decision in Bissonnette is, in my view, a major victory for workers whose jobs involve transportation of goods or services. It clarifies that federal law does NOT give their employers the power to force any legal claims (like a wage dispute) into mandatory arbitration.

This is an interesting new development in Nevada in the ongoing struggle over civil litigation—a ballot initiative capping contingency fees, filed by a PAC that is allegedly directed and funded by Uber.

Uber has a new strategy for silencing survivors: Prevent people who have been sexually assaulted, harassed, or otherwise injured from getting the representation they need to sue Uber in court.
