I just retweeted back to back, a Washington Post investigation showing Hamas took 9 Israeli kids as hostages back into Gaza; and then a Post photographer in Gaza’s image of an entire family killed by an Israeli air strike. Don’t be a person who only condemns 1 of these 2 things.

Here’s why the Palestinian attack on Israel was not “unprovoked”:

This is an Israel security official openly threatening war crimes in Gaza.

You can’t say you care about innocent lives in Israel but be okay with the taking of innocent lives in Gaza. That’s just morally unsustainable.

This is textbook rhetoric of ethnic cleansing that cannot be accepted in any civil society, let alone the United States.

It is an affront to humanity to weaponize this horrific trauma to justify the ethnic cleansing of Palestinians.

It is dangerous and must stop.
