My #1 answer is to study the tactics used by the Stop Cop City movement in Atlanta, and apply them to your local context.

This is the kind of thing you don't want to be right about. We can still win, but we are going to have to fight smarter.

And once again 'Open Expressions' has threatened to call police on students if they do not remove tents. Under the guise of 'protecting' students right to expression, this department objectively works to govern and repress free speech on campus.

🚨 Georgia State University, an institution with deep ties to Israel by way of the Georgia International Law Enforcement Exchange (GILEE) program, as well as to Cop City, is having graduating students wearing keffiyehs dragged off campus and is threatening to rescind degrees.

The crowd is slowly growing outside of the Oxford building at Emory University, as community members demand the institution sever ties with Israel and Cop City.

Just going to post this again for people curious about how to protect themselves and the crowd from aggressive police snatch squads, tear gas, flash bang grenades, rubber bullets, mace, pepper balls, etc.

80ish protesters have erected tents outside of the Undergraduate Admin building! 'Open Expressions' is threatening to call police again, but the community is steadfast.

Emory 'Open Expressions', the Dean of students etc, are not the friends of the students or faculty. They are reconnaissance for the police.

ATL UPDATE: 'Open Expressions' threatened to call the police, several people holding megaphones offered to 'talk' with campus authorities and to vacate the building. As a result, the building has been vacated and most of the crowd has dispersed, although some remain outside.

For the 2nd time in a week, Open Expression/Student Life is unleashing police violence on Emory Campus. How are parents supposed to donate to this school? How are people supposed to grade papers and conduct their business knowing that the campus us ruled by intimidation and fear?

BREAKING: protesters have taken over the undergraduate administration building at Emory University. They are denouncing the schools ties to US-Israeli violence in Gaza and Emory's ties to the Cop City project in Atlanta.
