After the first round of revisions, my novel has expanded by 10K words to a total of 112K 😯 and I still have work to do on the climax! Hoo, boy. Am I in trouble? 😅

Well! That was telling. 😂 As I make my way through revisions and edits, I'll have to see if there's a place to work one in organically. 🤣

Hubby and I finished our first readthrough of my novel last night, and he really enjoyed it! I've been picking away at edits and revisions as we go, and I have some work to do now on the final act. Digging in on this second draft!

I made some lemon butter chicken tonight and tried one of the riced vegetables, cauliflower and broccoli. I really liked it as a rice substitute! 😋

I created a detailed timeline for my #WIP today! It was sorted in my head but needed to be committed to paper for easier reference. My story takes place over ~10 weeks, from April 17 to June 25.

My 13yo is having surgery on her knee tomorrow so we all took today off and went to Universal. It was a low-key adventure but we saw some great shows and she spent her birthday money.
