A couple of weeks ago I was pleased to see two siskins at the feeder. Earlier today I counted 17, along with goldfinches, chaffinches, possibly a greenfinch, a robin, countless sparrows, great tits, blue tits, great tits, blue tits, coal tits and blackbirds #gardenbirds

This arrived this morning.I look forward to disagreeing with it vehemently while rediscovering some classics & maybe being more tolerant of some I dismissed at the time. I know it's an old interview in it but I could probably live without Bobby Gillespie as voice of a generation

There is huge amounts of love for this & it will be the favourite of many. I find it all a bit too polished and miss the jaggier edges

My annual commitment to die on this hill:
A holiday in the UK is a holiday.
A staycation is staying in your home and doing nice day trips etc.
Always feels like a weird form of snobbery to say it's only a real holiday if it's abroad.

The final episode was an utter mess. Storylines appearing from nowhere, storylines just vanishing, storylines unresolved or explained. Seems it was all the fat kid on the steps. In the end an incoherent complete waste of six hours. #passenger

Honestly I’m not against reboots or reimaginings but I ditched Ripley within ten minutes. I didn’t even object to the casting, although he’s just not right for the role. But moving the story to Italy from the starship Nostromo? Where are the chestbusting Xenomorphs? Disappointing

In the middle of this thread apparently you need a cleaner to be middle class as you don't all work during the week to have to clean up after yourself at the weekend. You probably should have a chef and a gardener too, a valet may be a step too far
