Good evening! A huge percentage of our built environment is over a hundred years old now and new housing is a lot less flammable than old housing!

We have all of these arguments about affordability or whatever and sometimes forget that century old buildings are tinderboxes stuffed full of lead paint, with poor insulation, and will fall over in an earthquake, and it is good to replace as many of them as possible
