Unfortunately, this process is usually skipped entirely in the case of departmental #SaaS or #ShadowIT .

Firms that M&A a lot are starting to accumulate a much higher rate of differentiated ERP apps now.

The good:

It also causes app fragmentation, such as when each sales group has their own favorite #CRM .

But the risk is losing control of data, app fragmentation poor integration with other business systems, and not even knowing who is using what.
