The article ignores context. It states the 'what' that happened but not the 'why' it happened. When you have a public place get trashed repeatedly over and over, there comes a point where you just get rid of the public place

The way the battery % works is it is reading the voltage from the battery and displaying it as a number. If a battery sits for some time with low/no power being pulled that voltage rises. This is likely what you are seeing.
