I signed up for (what I thought) was a monthly plan for one of their packages ~2020. 2 months later, when I tried to cancel I was told to pay 5 months’ more AND lose access immediately.

Switched to Affinity and never looked back.

Stumbled upon this amazing talk from Jim and Frank from 2022 about how setting goals for commonly measured metrics such p50, p99 might hurt more than help and better metric.
I strongly recommend to watch it for management and senior engineering folks.

personally, I switched to uv a week ago and plan to keep using it. Charlie Marsh and the team did an amazing job with ruff and I am confident in their ability to execute on their vision again.

When I started my new channel recently, I knew that it would be a lot of work, because of some previous experience with twitch and YT.
But it was even harder. A lot of prep (research, info error check, diagrams, some script), retakes, long video editing and thumbnails.
