It was a pleasure to join friends earlier at a breakfast hosted by Alice Albright to celebrate 20 years of Millennium Challenge. In #SierraLeone , the MCC, DFC, USTDA, and several other US Gov't agencies are supporting President Julius Maada Bio's vision for accelerated development and strengthening democracy.
I'm in Dallas, TX to attend the 2024 U.S. Africa Business Summit. While here, we'll meet with delegations from the US Govt, including MCC and DFC; engage with the private sector in Mining and Energy, and I'll hold a Townhall meeting with Sierra Leoneans. Together, #WeWillDeliver
Exciting update from EGTC that the 6MW solar farm in Newton is now injecting renewable energy into the grid. As we expand absorption capacity and extend the network, every little helps. A current World Bank project will add another 40MW in a few years! Together #WeWillDeliver
I led a delegation to Turkey to negotiate conditions of the current contract with Karpowership group CEO and CCO Zeynep Harezi. Together, we commit to always keeping the lights on for the people. This includes investments to the dispatch profile, grid network & reforms within GoSL
It's examination season again! We wish our children great success as they attempt the national primary school examination tomorrow. Our kids with various special needs can take exams today because of our #RadicalInclusion and Free Quality School Education policies. #WeWillDeliver
I was at State House all day on International Labour Day with my boss H.E. President Julius Maada Bio. Prior, I had spoken at a CSO event hosted by IGR that was presenting a baseline of our political promises. We believe in transparent and accountable governance. That's our commitment!
One Government: Energy Sector
1. Electricity and Water Regulation Commission (EWRC) deals with tariff regulation;
2. Electricity Distribution and Supply Authority (EDSA);
3. Electricity Generation and Transmission Company (EGTC)
4. Ministry of Energy (policy)

Where does my hope for Sierra Leone rest? It's people. It's talented people. It's talented young people. Here, young former Sierra Leonean professionals; owners of two local premier league teams, and UK's best designer were imagining this future with other youth. #WeWillDeliver
Proudly Sierra Leonean!
This country and her people give me hope, and together, #WeWillDeliver

For me, April 27th is about the past, the current, and the future. Today, I joined citizens to participate in a prayer event hosted by President Julius Maada Bio. I then worked with other leaders on our energy crisis before going to celebrate the birthday of the great SLPP! #WeWillDeliver
It was great to catch up again with Her Excellency Ameenah Gurib-Fakim in Sierra Leone after our first meeting at MIT 10 years ago. She is a phenomenal human being and such joy as we both supported our sister, Madam Tuma Gento-Kamara, to launch her foundation. #RadicalInclusion
I sat with the leaders of our State Owned Enterprises to discuss how they can improve service delivery, be efficient, and raise money for the treasury. We will sign performance contracts with each and together #WeWillDeliver
Very pleasure to host Dr Jalloh, an elder statesman who served our country under the leadership of Late President Kabbah and Mr Amadu Kamara- a 32-year old SLPP Mayoral Candidate of Makeni. Mr Kamara told me he was inspired to enter politics because of me. #WeWillDeliver
Yes, our job as leaders is to listen to the people, engage with the people, and address their concerns wherever they are - the streets, online, etc. That's how #WeWillDeliver for them. And yes, even those who abuse us, it's ok. I thank you too. Catch me FM 98.1 today.
I wake up every day with the sentiment that this young man is literally wearing on his back. I go through my day knowing that I have hope, hope that in spite of our differences, together, #WeWillDeliver for our people. We'll keep working harder to accelerate towards the SDGs.
